Kanye West ➔ Lost in the World Video

Kanye West drops off the visuals for his latest single pulled from the musician’s critically-acclaimed fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. 

Directed by Ruth Hogben, the Bon Iver/Justin Vernon-assisted offering is a high-energy, black and white affair with sharp cuts, vigorous dancing, and an air of mystery normally associated with visuals for one of West’s numerous projects. London-based Hogben’s previous works come primarily from the world of fashion – including collaborations with Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens, Louis Vuitton, Barneys, Mac Cosmetics and Selfridges.

London street artist RONZO presents is new mad installation of his street birds.  Film maker João Retorta produced this video. It follow the artist through the process of creating and rolling out his Urban gangsta style pigeons on the streets of London. One for us please!

Lana del Rey ➔ Carmen Video

Lana Del Rey is back to looking all old timey again! Aside from the fragrance commercial-esque “Blue Jeans,” the Born To Die diva’s music videos tend to look like the motion picture equivalent of Instagram, and here with “Carmen” she’s done it again. The video mixes grainy footage of New York with high-flying pole dancers, a single blooming rose, a cartoon cake walk, and Del Rey perched on the back of a motorcycle. The 25-year-old dons her old-school Brooklyn hipster finest, namely heavy metal jewelry, denim cutoffs, and lots of crop tops.

Nike presented Portugal Main Equipment of national team for Euro 2012, with Mad.Mac & Prana.

To release this collection, Nike presented the newly released Prana's song “Lei Zero”, remixed by Mad.Mac (Madsubculture DJ). This partnership created the official “power song” and music video of NeoConquistadores (Portugal Team) for the Euro2012. With the participation of Prana, Dj Mad.Mac, young talents of Football School by Carlos Queiroz and with styling by Joyce Doret, the video depicts a street footbal game. “I Will Never Change” ➔ Benga

“I Will Never Change” by Benga. This mad video created using 960 vinyl records – you’ll never look at Soundcloud the same way again! 

"It worked out to be 960 records would be the equivalent of 1 minute and 20 seconds worth of wave form. Each one had to be individually cut to a specific size, hand labeled, hand numbered and then finally polished. That process took 7 full working days alone.

To animate the wave form, we built it and then carefully removed each individual record. This had to be done very gently as any shift in the position of the sculpture would result in the failure of the animation and as we had to literally destroy each piece of vinyl to get it off, there was only one chance to get it right. "

REBEKA "Stars" ➔ DISCOTEXAS!

Rebeka is an experimental pop phenomenon that the grapevine has been buzzing with even before their first official release.

And it all boils down to the explosive duet between a charismatic vocalist, Iwona Skwarek, and a compelling producer, Bartosz Szczesny. Homebrew disco, Chinese techno cooked up on a vintage keyboard bestowed eons of time ago at The First Communion.

This gifted twosome of an emerging generation is not to be limited to any musical boundaries. "The laser versus the axe," as they say of their music. "It won't be disco, rather resounding brass and diamonds.""Stars" was mixed by Mirror People, who also did a club mix. Punks Jump Up delivered two remixes and Discotexas made an accoustic version!

Squarepusher ➔ Lite-Brite Acid Trip

Electronic musicians can be terrible live acts: What’s the point of seeing someone stand on stage behind a laptop, hitting a return key? No wonder then that artists such as Daft Punk and Justice amp up their shows with elaborate visual displays. Tom Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher, is another such performer, and unlike the rest, he does the music and the visuals himself.

"For a while I had apocalyptic nightmares about trails of nuclear missiles in the night sky. So I aimed to recreate that strange combination of exhilaration, terror and sadness both visually and emotionally through this piece. It lead to the idea of a spacecraft leaving earth at vast speed to escape, but oddly the music also made me think of it flying through a library. So I generated the visual aspect such that, as the piece progresses, it seems as if the viewer is ever accelerating through massive corridors of books."

Wall Writers ➔ Graffiti in its Innocence

Here’s a short but sharp teaser to this… Through unprecedented access to TAKI 183, CORNBREAD, and a host of other legendary writers, Wall Writers tells the story of a time when underprivileged city kids refused to keep lurking in the shadows, when the streets were so wild that fame and infamy became indistinct and when art became a democracy and self-promotion became an art.

TILT´S PANIC ROOM ➔ VIDEO

French graffiti writer TILT was invited to decorate the interior of the Au Vieux Panier hotel some time ago. Rather than create artworks for the interior, the artist decided to treat the whole room as a blank canvas. The result is an organized chaos which is original and eye catching. 
Half of the room was left plain in white, while the other half was totally bombed with tags, throw ups, stickers, and anything in between. TILT enlisted some help from trusty friends, who we imagine would have been more than happy to go wild in an empty space. BIG ADDICT was present during the installation process to document the chaos in the making. Check out the progression of the room in the video below.

‘Small Hands’ ➔ Music Video

A stunning video from director Joseph Mann as he creates a somber world of forest creatures for Keaton Henson’s tune ‘Small Hands’. At first glance you may assume that it is stop-motion, but they are actually all handmade puppets designed and created by puppeteer Jonny Sabbagh and friends.
