Massive Attack - Splitting The Atom (Official Video)

This is the first single for the long awaited 5th album, Heligoland. Launch date: February 8th.

Digital Analogue

The music for this short film was made entirely from sounds recorded from a collection of antique cameras. The imagery is comprised of over six thousand still photos shot and edited together via stop motion animation.

Rock in Rio is a series of rock festivals held in Brazil and later in Portugal and Spain. Rock in Rio has been the largest rock festival in the world (1.5 million people in the first edition, 700 thousand in the second, about 1.2 million in the third, and about 350 thousand people in each of the 3 Lisbon editions).

End Scene

“This video was made by Steffen Bygebjerg in 2009 for the song “End Scene”. The track is taken from Troels Abrahamsen’s album WHT also from 2009.

The animation work was made in Adobe After Effects. Each frame was then printed and the print was subsequently scanned back into the computer. The scanned frames were then assembled back into the original animation, now with a new rugged look, created by the visit in the physical analogue world. No effects added after scanning.”
