BAD LIFE X MATCH ATTACK ➔ 01.03.12 LISBON

At the forefront of the emerging Future Techno scene, our first year has seen Bad Life, London based Record Label, release some of the most important records of this burgeoning movement. Set for release on 2nd April 2012, Future Techno 1 compiles those releases, along with some new and exclusive tracks, featuring ZZT, autoKratz, Attaque, TWR72, Burns, NT89, SCNTST and more.

But, on March 1st you will have the chance to dance to all this unheard tracks. Match Attack and MAD SubCulture bring to you Bad Life's ambassadors, AutoKratz and Attaque to team up with our very own artists MAD.MAC, Gallak, Katfyr and Bitsound.

autoKratz are a London based electronic duo composed of David Cox and Russell Crank. They have released on both French electronic label Kitsuné Music and their own imprint Bad Life.

Splinters is the kind of dark techy joint which sounds more at home in a 5am warehouse rave than bowie knifing a squirrel out in the woods.

Attaque is an extraordinarily precocious talent making some of the best modern techno we've heard. Tiga, Erol Alkan, Fake Blood and Brodinski all agree.

Ron English ➔ “Seasons In Supurbia” Exhibition

Arguably one of the most prolific and recognized artists today, pop icon Ron English recently had his first solo exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, California.

Capturing the “intimate moments in suburban life — dosed with a cocktail of subversive visuals, consumer culture, and POPaganda politics,” the show, titled “Seasons in Supurbia,” has introduced 18 new paintings and features a slew of English’s archetypal characters serving as the denizens of Supurbia.

Slated to run until December 10, 2011, the “Seasons In Supurbia” exhibition is free and open to the public.

THE UNDERGROUND REBEL BINGO ➔ LISBON

"We used to throw parties in a church hall. At the end of the night we would hang out in the basement. One night we found a bingo kit down there and started messing around with it. Things got out of control, and it ended up as a mental bingo party. We had invented a new form of bingo - Rebel Bingo. We were drunk. We knew it was wrong, but it felt good. We weren't supposed to be there, in the basement, and we definitely weren't supposed to be experimenting with bingo."

"You won't see us but we're everywhere.

You won't hear us but we're right behind you.

We're everywhere and nowhere, but wherever we are we're playing dirty secret hardcore Rebel Bingo on the down low.

We know it's wrong.

But it feels so right.

And they can't stop us."
