The Stockholm Metro shows one way to entice more and more people to be environmentally responsible and take public transportation. For the price of a train ticket, you can enter the city’s largest art museum to date. Spanning over 90 of the Stockholm 100 Metro’s stations, there is everything from surreal installations to more traditional paintings and canvasses.The Stockholm Metro contains the works of hundreds of artists, showcasing sculptures, mosaics, inscriptions and more from the 1950s through to the 2000s. There are also guided tours available to shed more light on the art displayed in these underground tunnels.
