The 15th Caldas Late Night (CLN15), non-profit art event, will be held on May 28 in Caldas da Rainha, PORTUGAL.
The event is organized by students and alumni of the School of Arts and Design (ESAD) for the promotion of diverse art forms in a local and national extent.
Targeted goals are maintained in accordance with their philosophy: to encourage the development of multiple art forms, incite the submission of the same to the public, and engaging the city in an environment of creativity and artistic and cultural outgrowth. This event is held annually in Caldas da Rainha, begins on May 28 from 2pm, and will extend until 2am on the 29th.
The projection of CLN has mobilized every year an increasing number of artists and audiences, and has been asserting itself more and more on a national and international level. Apart from students and alumni of ESAD, have increased from year to year contributions from authors of different ages, from various parts of the country. This display of contemporary art has the support of City Hall and ESAD, and other local entities that commit to this unique cultural promotion, that for one day expands and transforms the already teeming city's artistic spirit. The first edition of CLN was in 1997 and emerged from the need for students to create and exhibit their work outside the boundaries of the school. The artists bring their works to live among the population in a culturally enriching proximity to both.
