Sound of Noise, it´s all about musical terrorism!

The concept behind Sound of Noise is pretty cool. It’s about six drummers who are sick of all the terrible music they’re constantly hearing, and decide to do something about it. Their solution is musical terrorism. That is, using everything in the city, from hospital patients and tools to heavy machinery to play what is considered to them the greatest musical composition of all time.

Levitation Series

Franck Bohbot is an artist whose work spans from documentaries and illustration to architecture and photography. In this particularly peculiar series, Franck Bohbot shoots average people floating through their daily lives.
Literally.
The subtlety of Franck Bohbot’s levitating subjects is astounding, adding a trippy element to the series. The fact that each photograph features a floating person is not noticeable at first.

GORILLAZ - The Fall Album

From Montreal to Vancouver via Seattle, Texas and Toronto, over 32 days on their North American Tour this autumn, Gorillaz recorded a musical diary on an IPAD. The result is a collection of 15 tracks, some with vocals, some without, some combined performances and some solo.
The 15 track sonic journal, titled The Fall, produced by Gorillaz and Stephen Sedgwick, is available to download for free by Sub Division fan club members!
The music was recorded during spare time while on the road. "I did it because there's a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it" says Damon Albarn. "I found working in the day, whether it's in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well." Adding that the collection is "..like a diary, I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there's a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America."

Dj LIGTH!

Created by Dominic Harris and Cinimod Studio, DJ Light is an immersive public sound and light installation that gives visitors the power to orchestrate performance of light and sound across a large public space. It was created for energy company Endesa as the cornerstone of their Christmas celebrations in Lima, Peru. The installation allows one person to take control over a massive space and manipulate the incredible array of light and sound by using just their body. The installation consists of 85 giant globes of light, each capable of displaying millions of colours. As the “guest DJ” assumes their position on the podium, they can use their arms to point and gesture. These movements are translated in real-time into mad movements of light and generative sound across the space.

“I am a Parisian Lady”

The “I am a Parisian Lady” concept by French photographer Baudouin is to shoot some Parisian Ladies from unknown background at home and in the middle of their daily life. Going away from the cliche of the actress or celebrity to the unknown who represent the real Parisian Lady.

Cascadeur - Walker

"He's a new, mysterious and masked music maker from France."
Who Cascadeur actually is could probably be worked out, but for now his identity is secret. He is from Alsace Lorraine though. Hiding behind either a helmet or a Mexican wrestler’s mask, Cascadeur is for now as much a mystery as his music is affecting.
'Walker' – which also opens the EP – is a benchmark Cascadeur performance. Yearning, elegiac and stately, it evokes loss: “now I’m lost, I waste my life away”. With a vocal that places Cascadeur on a level with Antony Hegerty and Patrick Watson, its beauty haunts.
Cascadeur declares himself “like a monster” and asks “about the meaning of my life”.
