TV Girl ➔ “I Wonder Who She’s Kissing Now”

TV Girl is like a good recipe. Everything is in moderation, making for a sun-sprinkled, indie pop creation sailing on just the right amount of vinyl sampling–topped off with a carefully placed post-punk cherry.
This San Diego indie pop duo will put out their debut LP in a couple of weeks, and today  they’re sharing a new cut from that release, the catchy vintage pop track “I Wonder Who She’s Kissing Now.”

HORROR VACUI ➔ PHOTO SERIES

“What if the most scary 80′s film horror characters were alive now?”

This is the provocative phrase of Federico Chiesa, Italian photographer and Carolina Trotta, makeup artist. Together they made a series of photographs that depict the ‘bad guys’ characters that have shaped the history of 80′s. The project is called “HORROR VACUI”
We can find the sisters in film “Shinig” more old and in a supermarket, Freddy Krueger of “Nightmare” aged and plagued by smoke, “Darth Vader” with blanket and bag of ‘hot water, Michael Myers with economic problems and Jason Voorhees with walking problems.

Alexander McQueen ➔ 3D Skull Ring

Alexander McQueen has just released arguably one of the dopest accessories, in the form of an all black 3D Skull Ring. This little mad treasure is made out of lacquered ottone brass and features amazing detail for something so small and simple. This ring is definitely a piece to add to your Spring/Summer Collection of goodies.

Lana del Rey ➔ Carmen Video

Lana Del Rey is back to looking all old timey again! Aside from the fragrance commercial-esque “Blue Jeans,” the Born To Die diva’s music videos tend to look like the motion picture equivalent of Instagram, and here with “Carmen” she’s done it again. The video mixes grainy footage of New York with high-flying pole dancers, a single blooming rose, a cartoon cake walk, and Del Rey perched on the back of a motorcycle. The 25-year-old dons her old-school Brooklyn hipster finest, namely heavy metal jewelry, denim cutoffs, and lots of crop tops.
